Hosting a rotary BBQ

I'm hosting a rotary BBQ at my house on Sunday October 13th. Looking to get locals together, hang out, check out each others cars etc. Food will be provided, drinks are on you. I have recently purchased a compression test tool from rotarydiagnostics.com and many people will be having them done that day. $40 for a compression test, with an emailed sheet of your numbers.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. I have a facebook event created I can invite you to.

I'd be interested, but I'm not on facebook, so if you can shoot me the where/when details in a PM that would be great.

How do you like the Rotary Diagnostics compression tester? I've had my eye on those for a while now, but never pulled the trigger on buying one only because I wouldn't get enough use out of it to justify the price.

Thats kind of why im hosting this. Not only to get friends together and see the few RX7s in this area, but to help offset the cost of purchasing the tester. It's a nice unit, The creator explained that the digital sensor alone costs him $150 so it's not like hes jacking the price up for nothing. The software is kind of "meh" I'd like to see a better implementation or some sort of config file that reduces the number of setup steps. If you come on up I can show you!

Another thing I'm going to miss out on! I hope you have a good turnout, I'm busy with house projects and getting ready for a baby!

I had a few people tell me they werent coming (Big suprise) but we still had a good time! It was a little chilly, we were a little under prepared, and I didnt have the tools to do the compression test since my stuff is still at my parents house...but good times all around. Next year we'll do this again and it'll be better.
