NY Hey guys, How much do you think I can sell my RX7 for in this market?

I don't want to sell it now, but down the line I want to save some money up for an Rx-8(I was told by a dude on the forums that the RX8 was a piece of garbage...It's still sexy to me). Once I get my funds close to 10,000 I'll probably sell my Rx7

Heres the specs
1989 rx7 gxl

54,000 miles
Clean interior
Glass top sun roof
Power windows
Cusco front strut bar
Momo Stearing wheel
Works bell quick release
TII hood
Custom exhaust, with headers, and cat removed
full KYB adjustable suspension

I also have these parts that I might put on the car before the winter comes or during...

Full s4 TII drivetrain from Flywheel/clutch to the rear.
Basically TII tranny and clutch based LSD
A Nice Body kit(If I do this I might paint the whole car black...theres nothing wrong with the paint so is that a bad idea?)
17" Stock BBS rims from A subaru STI

Thanks for looking.

leave off the body kit, do not paint the car if it is a good condition 54k mile car it will be worth more with good original paint

ask $4500 but I dont think it would sell to someone on this board. Advertise it in locally on craigslist

sell off the extra parts

^Agreed with selling the extra parts separate. Personally I wouldn't pay more than $3500 for an excellent example NA. Like Rob says, throw it up for $4500 on craigslist and see what happens.

Right now though I don't think anyone wants to buy these cars. A year+ ago, people were ringing the bell asking if my car was for sale. Now I want to sell it, and I don't see it happening.

selling a NA stockish car is 10000x's easier then a TII. Kids and adults want them. Unless that TII is some garage kept thing that is stock also.

I would say $3500 is a good price, let someone negotiate down or lower the price if there is no interest in a few days. And my $4500 asking price was saying the car is MINT, not a 54k mile turd

You've also got the glass sunroof going for you, a rare item indeed.
That's worth 4-500 on itself.
