Does anyone have one I could borrow for a day? I need to get an engine out of my truck

 

Pat, I wish you told me...I coulda helped you out yesterday, but today's a no go.

You trying to pull an engine from your truck ie engine bay, or just move a 13B you hauled in your truck? Cuz if it's the latter, I'm sure we can do it together, either by carrying or by using a dolley (which is what I did last night).

 

Yeah it's a 13B long block chillin in the bed of my truck. I doubt we can lift that sucker out of the truck. I know your strong and all, but I think we'll need a hoist

 

Pat, w/ a plank and a dolley, it's 100% doable. I just rolled out a 13B long block last night that way. Lifting it out is very doable too, IMO. If you wanna give it a go, I'll have a friend w/ me tomarrow, and I'll be coming back from MIR at around 11 or 12 (noon). I can swing by, and all 3 of us should be able to at LEAST pick it up from the truck and rest it on the floor to be moved the rest of the way w/ the dolley, assuming the distance is too long to carry the whole way.
