Back around 2003/4 I sold my race prepped '86 FC to a man from the DC area. It was a non-sunroof car with a 6 point roll cage and a Kirkey racing seat. It also had a slew of mods (Ground-Control coil-overs, KYB shocks, race exhaust, relocated battery w/ kill switch, etc.). The buyer that bought it, and an 18 foot car hauler from me drove to Birmingham, AL to pick it up.
I would like to find the current owner of the car. It might still be in the DC, VA area. It may have been raced with NASA or the SCCA in the years following. I have lost my copy of the bill of sale so I have nothing more to go by than I think I remember the the buyer's first name was Tom.
I will pay someone a small bounty for helping me find my old car.
i saw a red fc similar to this car at 2018 East Coast Rotary Classic at Angel Motorsports in Norfolk, VA. There are differences between the two, which makes sense for 15 years, but maybe worth cecking it out. you can check @rx7vargas on instagram. some posts on Sept 8-9 you can see it in the background. Good Luck!!!
Hi Carmon. I'm your guy. I bought your car!

i rebuilt it, raced it in SCCA ITS successfully for several years, and sold it a few years back to a gentlemen in upstate New York . He wanted a sister car to his ITS RX7 so he could race together with his son in matching cars.
PM me and I'll see if I can find his contact details.
regards,
crispy
PS: My name is not Tom. He was a friend who bought the trailer. ;-)
