Cool thanks Jon
It will be a weekend thing--start on a saturday morning--hopefully with no problems get it done that day or close and finish Sunday--but there is always problems.
He is sending me a long block,I know I have to take the dynamic chamber off to wire everything up--As far as I know I should only need the gasket for that, and a new header gasket, plugs ,new wires, oil filter, motor oil, tranny oil,coolant--that should be it.Am I missing anything ,Anything at all I should buy .And a new o2 sensor
I might not use the flywheel I have now,I don't like the way the rpms comedown so fast and sometimes kill the motor,Its a Bönez Aluminum Flywheel I paid almost 500.00 for it from rx7.com.If the one on the new motor is in good shape I might just use it,so if some one wants it--show up and help me out.

Its the same thing as taking them out, you just leave the pistons on the garage floor

If the revs drop so fast that the engine dies, bump your idle up a little :p

I'll prolly be able to help!

Awesome. With the right tools, dropping in an engine is a snap!

whoa, whoa, BBQ??? when was there a MD BBQ??? Seriously

But do you need anything that you don't already have in way of tools? Do you already have a cherry picker?

I'm up for helping, but don't want there to be to many cooks in the kitchen though.

---****,cooks--I need a chef!--lol--I have the picker,an engine stand, air compressor,--The one thing I can not find is my damn large socket that I spent an arm and leg for to take the flywheel off.If anyone has some metric impact sockets that would be great!--I really need that 2 1/8 or what ever damn size it is.

Oh and the Maryland BBQ

I can't make it this weekend, but I have that socket in my toolbox if you want to borrow it.

I'll be there, I'm just next to bowie and I have all the sockets and whatever, and I've done plenty of swaps on all kinds of cars including my own 7s.
