Hello all,
my name is Clark, and I just picked up an '94 rx7 not to long ago, Id post pictures but it keeps failing my uploads...just wanted to touch base with you guys cause Im interested in joining your rotary club, make some new friends, and such.
I had a 1st gen awhile back and have been hunting off and on for a few years for a really nice 3rd gen. which I finally found
Well that should start it off, the car is in gorgeous condition with alot of high end mods. This is the link to where I found it, it has pictures and some info.

http://autos.yahoo.com/usedcars/deta...iles-230000631

he claims its 450hp on 12psi... but Id like to take it to the dyno here maybe this weekend.

I don't know what is happening this weekend but if the weather is nice, anyone want to go to Bass Pro Shops on Saturday evening? I would enjoy seeing a bunch of the other rotary crew at the event.

Welcome clark.

What's happening at bass pro now? I'm supposed to go to the shooting range with my friend, but I would rather go to bass pro (seeing as how its closer). Plus tomorrow my dad and I are putting the front bumper back on the '79. I just need a good battery and inspection and it's street legal again.

I have a battery you can have. Worked fine when it was in the FD.

A bunch of cars/car guys hang out at BP on Saturdays.

All you need to take off is the intake elbow in order to get to the plugs. If you don't want to take it off, you can actually remove the plugs from underneath the car. You'll just need a rachet and a plug socket. Know a neighbor with those?

Anyone local to Clark got some tools and free time??

Is it possible my fuel pump is cut off? I guess I wont know til I pull the plugs.

so I got to the plugs from underneath but I cant get to the leading plugs, I need a thin wall thsocket, also I didnt realize that ngk makes special plugs for trailing and leading so Im gonna have to check which ones I put in the trailing side. then I try this

Really? I've never had an issue using a regular plug socket...

looks like some jackhole used a shortened ngk plug, it was single spark ol school style so its probly been there along time due to the complexity and lack of thin wall sockets... which after failing to find, riding around with a friend, I bought a rotary tool hehe "rotary", and grinded down my own for an hour and a half... I felt like I was doing some right of passage. I ran out of daylight before I could jack the car back up to get to the second lead... Im dissapointed that someone had let those lead spark plugs get into that condition for so long... it felt like permanent carbon deposits on the tip. So I gonna get up early tomorrow, finish removing the second, lead take back out the trails and continue with deflooding. Hopefully Ill be back on the road by noon...If not Ill be shopping for a cheapy. I really hope she fires up after this kinda day...
