the new program sucks , everyone in the ECU Forum has had problems and even some of the gurus have made their own programs .

Trust me I wish it was . I am usinig the wolf system . It works great its just not friendly to the average person

 

"PINKS" on speed channel is a good one they got a civic hatch vs a 89 turbo rx7 is anyone recording this!!!!!!

 

I watched it.. It was drag racing.... ho hum....

 

I hate pinks. Sooo much drama for a couple of drag runs. Now, I think we need some time trial episodes of PINKS. VIR, Summit, any road course. Now THAT I'd watch.

well, Pete, they have had a road racing episode. I didn't see it. I actually do enjoy the show though, but the drag race is ..... well drag racing. I have done it and found it boring, but better than a day at work I guess. I suppose it is better than dyno drag racing.

But different strokes for different folks. I don't like it, but there are plenty of people who do..... I wil also say that I have gone to some pro level drag races and had a good time. The pro teams are good at what they do. But it is nothing that I have much desire to do.

But with that said, I like hanging out with other car people that I have become friends with. That is why I think our club should go to one of the drag strips around here and do a test and tune night. Anything car related is fun with you friends.

I guess that is why I am so disappointed that I am not going to VIR this weekend, btu I just have too much stuff to do this weekend. I hate computers.

 

that was last years race . They sold the Honda for 6 k on ebay , hahahah I hear they will have another RX7 on this season

anyone have the hard line that goes to the back of the turbo it goes from the lower coolant line to the inner side of the turbo. mine has a small crack in it and i dont know if jb weld will hold on something like that??

 

nope it will not hold just go to parts store and buy a new line.

this forum has become a bunch of ladies !!! another night of racing and no members to step up and run . We all boast about our cars , but we dont back it up ????? If you r worried about the WALL then SLOW DOWN and enjoy the night . There has been a total of 1 RX & out at Langley this year . I'm hoping with a little help to be out ther next week . But this is a trak car and I have little hours behind the wheel . I cant imagine a daily driver out ther . LETS STEP UP AND make this happen . Just need a little help here .

If no one is interested please tell me to shut up !!!!!!!!!!! And i promise I will ( at least about Langley )

I plan to give it a try, but as all of you know, my car is slow, but I think I can probably do OK in the time attack, not great, but OK.

I just had stuff come up and I could not go... Sorry guys or else I would have been there.

In the mean time, anybody want to come beat me at an autocross, I am at plenty of events. Plan on going to Sumit Point in September if anyone else wants to come. It is a great track.

I'm just about fully prepped for CSP now. I finally picked up some 710s, too! So... I'll take you up on the autocross - you just havent' been there a lot lately

I WILL run my RX-7 at Langley, but I'm in the middle of putting everything back together from the track prep this past week. I've also got to take a trip to the dyno to finalize the tune on the megasquirt.

I love VIR. If any of you guys come out to hang out and watch the NASA event on VIR North, say hi - I've got the grey 2nd gen with a black hood. I've only seen two other RXs there so far, so we need to bump up the population!

 

glad to hear the wife is ok , the hospital is never a good thing . When you get some free time maybe you can make it out to watch we had about 10 people out there last night
