There's a guy not far from you trying to get $9500 for his Gixxer... it's already lowered, stretched and modded and has only been done for about a month or two. Too bad you didn't get that one, could have saved you a ton of money

well i have an 01 600 for corner carving. i used to have this one slammed for drag duty but now the 1000 will take that over. and i wouldnt waste 9500 on that bike. i only buy bikes wrecked ill have this one done with all the work im talking about for less than 6000. i wouldnt ever buy brand new. she needs a few things but since i work at a dealer its nothing for me. 500 miles on her. oh and brandin i have your tags but you better come get them cause im moving this weekend.

Congratulations on the bike....
On another note....
I don't want to high jack your thread or rain on your parade but this year I lost two friends in bike accidents and I just want to share this with everyone here.... I hope it will make everyone who reads this think twice before they get on a bike or save someones life.....
The first one was James, he was only 21 years young.... James was a coworker and friend. When he first bought his Honda 900 he would sometimes say.... " Damn, today I drove to 150 mph, wow what a rush". Sometimes he would say " Yo, I raced this porche and smoked him."
One night he was riding with 2 other bikers and took a corner to fast... He hit a lampost... The lampost didn't kill him..... He was thrown from the bike and slid on his stomach head on into the curb, pushing is head into his shoulders and breaking his neck.....
James was full of life he would go to the gym and work out... He was very healthy... He was built like a body builder he was the last person anyone would think would die..... He hated cigarettes and every time he saw me smoking he would allways ask me when I was going to quit.... Guess what? I quit the day he died......
My second friend was 34 years young..... David was a fire fighter (FDNY).... He was an experienced rider.... One morning on the way to work a woman unexpectedly made an illegal U-Turn, smashing into my friend and killing him.... Just like that!
Both died in less than a year apart leaving behind family, friends, children, parents, a wife, and loved ones.....
Please be careful out there riding..... Remember a bike does not have the same protection a car has.....
Remember the bikers infamous saying... " Either you've been down or you'll go down, sooner or later you'll get some road rash."
Peace.

ya i know from experience that bikes are dangerous. im here just by the graces of god as i was thrown from my bike and took a streetsign across my chest at 50 mph. did leave a scratch or break a bone. i know the dangers of riding but i love it so much thats its worth it to me.

Lost a few of my friends to accidents also. Been riding next to one when he looped it @ 137mph.
Its true if you ride your going to put it down eventually, no matter how good you think you are
Ive been fortunate to limp away with a broken collarbone and road rash on my leg. Came to close to eating it to many times, I save the real speed for vacant roads now. There’s nothing like seeing the speedo pass 170, and knowing it’s just you and whatever you believe in. No radios, No cell phones, No problems, No worries, No cares, No stress… None of the bs that makes the day annoying

I won't preach, I've seen 170 my share of times on the highway too. But be careful out there... the more of us that **** up and kill ourselves riding recklessly, the more **** we have to hear from people that don't ride.
