Grudge Race - Speed_NYC vs ANTHONYNYC
At the last NYRA meet at Bear Mountain some witnessed Roan call me out for a race. It was supposed to take place Friday and he was ready. It happened tonight. His white 638HP Gt42 against my Holset HX55. We both had ET Streets and C16, both of us were running over 25psi.
NYCE1s.com was there and got the footage. All spectators were friends of ours, we kept it to a small group. I won't say what happened, Julian will have the video soon.
Anthony
PS, Roan - who's your daddy?

yes, its true, I brought my untested, never raced, unaligned daily driver out on the street to race anthony's track proven, perfectly dialed in fd. anthony came ready to race with skinnys and all, but i must admit he did drive the car from his home all the way to the race spot 6 minutes from his house.
i wont say the outcome yet either, but i will say that this isnt over by a long shot. we're gonna do this again in the very near future, will keep you guys posted.
anthony, check the sig.

NYC's Loudest FD
LMAO! You guys are funny! This rivalry will never end no matter who wins or looses between the both of you. The great thing is that we all remain great friends and races like this will hopefully help us learn more about what makes a fast car, no matter what the outcome is. It's good to see that in the rx7 community.

You showed up with tuner, engine builder, painter, tire changer, fuel changer and fan club when you should have shown with another driver!
From what I was told the problem was not with your car or race crew but your driving skills! I heard you could not even do a burnout! That's what happens when you let your mouth do all the racing!
Roan you know I'm only messing with you!
At least you guys had fun. Just get your **** together and let that rematch happen quickly or else Enzo will not give you a shop sticker!
Ok I'm done now. I have some roast corn to eat!
