Anyone going to the Grand-Am race this weekend??

Last year when I went the rotary's took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place.... It was a great time..

Nah sitting outside in african heat is not something I enjoy doing. Lots of good etown events I missed because it was too hot to go.

Ill be watching it via speed channel in a nice ac room set at 61 degrees lol.

Well, for the 3rd straight year it appears I may be missing this event Of all the things to happen during this heatwave, I catch a cold!! Hope I can shake it by tomorrow morning.

Well, the above people made it to the event and saw the RX-8s sweep the podium for GT class, second year in a row

I watched it on TV, would have been nicer to be there but I still enjoyed it

Question tho.. Why do they put the Riley cars with the GT cars if they are so much faster? Seems like a it flusters the track having the Rileys trying to pass the GT cars..

had i known.. contemplated on taking my seven year old...
hes taken up the interest and has now agreed to compete in karting next year...
he wouldve enjoyed this local event..

Def was fun watching it on TV. Maybe next year it wont be as hot and i can actually see it live.

Funny how the vette driver was pissed at one of the 8 drivers for a "dumb move". "It was sooo dumb, it was just dumb". lol Then throws a water bottle at the car LOL

Its good on TV =.. but nothing beats the 400+ NA 3rotors SCREAMING!!! down the track in person

Sorry man Lady threw a monkey wrench last minute... I was pissed all morning cause Had i known she wasn't going I would of made plans to leave with out her.
