you'd be surprised. in the last few relationships i've had, they've either been wholly against it or uncomfortable with the idea of their girlfriend looking at other girls(despite saying they were fine with it). none were willing to let me have a girlfriend of my own, either...Chris is. among the other things he does right, he told ME that he'd be find with it before i even brought it up...and he's been trying to help me find a girlfriend. it's almost funny.

theres nothing wrong with a girl wanting a g/f on the side in addition to their normal b/f as long as the primary relationship doesnt flip over or interfere. My wife's been looking too but shes always too busy with the baby and her new job now.

but a lot of guys that are gung-ho about it are sometimes under the illusion that they would get the other girl too as in him having 2 g/fs then. just be careful to watch out for that.

 

see, i'm glad to see there are others who understand a little bit of the poly lifestyle. Chris is all for letting me have my own girlfriend. he isn't even concerned with joining in - he just wants me to have fun and be happy. he saw how it was the last couple of months of my thing with Mike, and he knows the frustrations i had then.

he wouldn't complain if he were allowed to join or watch, but he's not asking for that.

 

one of my exs had a g/f and they had their fun. I mostly pushed her towards trying to actively get a g/f mainly because she didnt feel secure enough to go for it even though she already felt that way. it made her feel more comfortable with herself when she didnt have to hide it as much anymore.

My wife on the other hand is from L.A. area and spent a lof of her time in west hollywood with her friends who were mostly not of the straight persuasion.
