FS: '93 RX7 R1 w/LS1
'93 Mazda RX-7 R1. The car is in good condition and runs great. It has a clean title and carfax. There are a few minor blemishes in the paint and body, but over all its very good. All systems work perfectly. No A/C or power steering for weight savings and road feel. 93k miles on the chassis and 39k miles on the motor and transmission.
All work (besides exhaust) has been done by myself. I'm an ASE Master Tech, not a shade tree mechanic. I set it up as a great weekend car and track toy. I only got the chance to bring it to the track twice this year. It had never been tracked previous to those two days. I'm also not a very aggressive or abusive driver. (I'm still on the orig. clutch on my WRX with 25+ track days and 80k miles)

wow, sorry to hear that you have to sell it. im sure there's a good reason.
seeing the car first hand and in action, i must say it is in prestine condition. the work under the hood is super clean and the car runs and pulls strong. Pete and Paddy know their stuff, and put nothing but the best parts and craftsmanship into the car. really good guys all around.
good luck on the sale, and again, im sorry you have to sell it. what's next for ya? WRX first, LS1 R1 second. judging by your taste, i'm sure it's gonna be nice and fast.

The fuel gauge was the easiest. The tach was second. The rotary tach uses a signal that is the same as a 4 cylinder. The LS1 uses half of a V8 (ask the GM engineers why) so that was just one connection. I tapped a port on the block and installed the Mazda oil press. sender and then ran a wire to the front harness connection. I bought an adapter that threaded into the cylinder head water jacket and installed the mazda sender and ran another wire. I used a Dakota Digital speedometer conversion box to change the GM signal to a Mazda signal. It came with instructions.

maybe buy it for like $21 and sell your current fd for 13k or so. might be worth it.

Chris cheated, he was supposed to build his FD, lol. I would have done the samething if I had the money. Maybe I should sell my FD in hopes that someone will sell another clean example, we'll see.
