Just since you asked nice, here is my answer. No flames looked cool, if that’s all your car can do. .... We need to get these guys together with the idiot with the Red GTO in Manassas that just sits in the BK parking lot shooting flames all night.

Being one of the first guys to start this cruise night six years ago in Dulles. It sucks seeing it turn into another Saturday night at Manassas BK. Just a **** load of kids doing burn outs and revving engines till the cops show up. Typically it’s a nice event on Friday at CF, you can walk your kids around check out nice cars ect… But when the Fast and Furious wana- bee’s show up it’s just a matter of time and we will loose the lot. The management at Chick Filet has been pretty cool with us, and if you’re going to show your car there show some respect.

I guess the funny part is I wouldn’t show up and try to show those car’s if it’s was daylight out. Unless you proud of how dirty and rusted your cars is.

That guy with the GTO has shown up at CFA in Sterling before, i believe he was there the last time i made it out with the FD.

As for losing the lot, we almost have a couple of times with the bike riders that turn the Classic Car Meet into a showdown of bikes and ATV's that race up and down that little lane doing the same tricks for 4 hrs and drawing the crowd over there. When they first starting showing up they didn't even barricade the area off, and were doing a lot more stupid stuff.

Anyway, it's been way to long since i've made it out there, but with the sun setting earlier and the nights getting way to cold, i won't be out until the spring.

My car can do plenty. If you don't believe me, register for a Washington D.C. SCCA Solo event next season with YOUR car, and see if you can beat a lowly little 22 year old car..

As far as my behavior in that video goes... Was it immature? yup. Am I sorry for it? A little.... When I was there, I saw burnouts, wreckless driving, indecent behavior, all happening in that parking lot.... Was it the "fast and the furious" crowd? Some of them, yeah.... But to be honest with you, I saw more guys in american iron screwing around than in import stuff.

Finally, my car HAS been up there during the day, and every time I've ever shown my car anywhere, it gets compliments. Is it a show car? no, it's a RACE CAR, plain and simple. Does that mean it's dirty and rusty? No. My car is actually rust free, has a decent paint job, and I keep it clean as I can.

lol, a lot of us think walking around and standing is quite a boring way to waste a Friday night, just my opinion though. Get there, catch up with people, and setup whatever cruise you need to and leave. What the hell is wrong with revving your engines while parked again? I did think it was fucked up (although funny) how one of the RX7s backfired where another car was parked behind it, but other than that I don't see whats wrong with it...maybe you can explain?

You have to face that tokyo drift has awakened all the piece of **** 240s' owners and they will drift around the lot and it will get worse. I don't think it will though, its just crazy how much **** that spots been through. Around a month ago some dude got beat up badly by 5 guys over some chic. There were 2 ambulances and 7 cop cars there, the dorifto boys were still on the other side of the lot, and were only asked questions about what they saw happen. In the summer my co-worker's Accord got hit by some dick with a green automatic 240 who tried to drift around it...no cops no nothing.

The most that ever happens is the Sherrif with the Suburban that goes around looking for speeders, and most of us find that quite entertaining. The people making idiots of themselves is entertaining to me too, but it gets old quick which is why I try not to stay there too long.

And before you call all the idiots "kids" drop by in the summer when you get a chance and watch all the 30+ year olds launching their 9 second dragsters in the parking lot

That's something i hate about going there too. There's one guy with a full out drag car; cage, stripped interior, the works...who has to punch the throttle just to keep the car from stalling. Never gets spoken to by the cops, which is amazing; cause there's no way it's street legal.

That guy's the head mechanic over at Ferraris... the shop is right behind Best Buy. He also has a 1,000 hp Corvette.
