Moral of the story: Don't put a v8 in an FD...it'll commit suicide from the shame!! - curacaosfinest
Couldn't agree more!!

Another example of how drifting has no real world use except delivering delicate tofu.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread....but I now own this car haha.
It ended up in a salvage yard here in TN, a friend bought it as a parts car for his white FD. Definitely not a running car like it said in that for sale ad. They tore apart the engine and found a lot of sand inside of it haha. Luckily he got some money back, and he also got lucky because the junk yard thought it had a LS1 when it actually had a LS6. He ended up building a 383 stroker and later sold the car.
I ended up buying the shell from him for only $750...couldn't pass it up since he was gonna crush it.
Here is a link to the build thread I made on here.

I haven't updated it in forever and a ton has changed since making it. You'll see I was going to put a V8 in it but plans have changed. I'm going to be building it on Horsepower TV on Spike in Spring of 2013 and right now the plan is to build a badass 20b. 4 rotor isn't out of the question either...but unlikely.
Best part is that the intro to this episode will be pictures of this car under water to explain the cars back story haha. I can't wait! I'll keep you guys updated. Saving this FD from the crusher and putting a rotary back in it.

Caveat emptor I guess. I'm glad to see everything worked out and that it is going to get rebuilt properly though.
