Fall CT Cruise, Sat. November 4th.
Hey Everyone, Well the weather took care of my last attempt at putting together a meet and cruise. So, I'm going to give this another shot. I hope that many of you will be able to join. For those of you not interested in joining us for the whole cruise, especially the Mass. gang, you are welcome to meet us at half way at Kent Falls, up in north Kent, CT.
Details:
Saturday, November 4 @ 12noon - weather permitting.
Meeting up at Connecticut Post Mall, Milford (Exit 39B off I-95, route 1), in the Target/Borders parking lot. Look right, you can't miss it!
We will be departing at 12:30 sharp, so please be on time if you don't want to be left behind!
Total time: Aprox 4hrs
Beginning in Milford, we will work our way up route 25 and head up to New Milford. The drive will continue up route 7 and we will be stopping at Kent Falls in Kent, CT ($5 parking charge may apply) at approximately 2p. Hang out there for a little bit. People are welcome to bring sandwiches if you want to do a lunch while we are hanging out.
Cruise will continue on Route 7N to route 4E. We will then pick up 63S and make our way back down to Route 8S, to Route 34E and then pick up Merrit back to Milford and the Post Mall. We can also pick up an early dinner at one of the Mall restaurants if anyone is intersted in hanging around.
Detailed directions and a map will be given out at the meet.
NOTE: I will announce if the event is canceled due to weather, but so far it looks like there is a good window of sun. If anything changes by next Wednesday, please check here again for an update.
Please post on here if you are interested so I can keep track of who is coming. You can also call my cell (203) 258-5588 if you have any questions.
Look forward to meeting you all!
Steve

INFORMATION :: INFORMATION :: INFORMATION
I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the route ahead of time. And through the wonders of technology (albeit, not as advanced as it should be) I was able to plot it out and give you some notes along the way as well.

Okay, now the DISCLAIMER:
I'm doing my best to throw together a drive that I think most of you will enjoy. Granted some of it is just highway, and some stretches might be a bunch of traffic lights... BUT, that's the way it goes. Do to my limited amount of freetime and the fact that it is not that easy to organize all this, print maps out, etc... I will not be entertaining suggestions or modifications to the route. You can of course choose to participate in as much or as little of the cruise as you would like - I am going to enjoy myself no matter what. My hope is that we will get as many of us together, cuz I know how excited I would be if I saw a ton of us cruising along.
That being said, I'm looking forward to meeting some new people and maybe this will inspire some of you to organize a few cruises yourself, soon you have a whole winter to start thinking about it!
