RX-7 Meet/ Bachelor Party.

My good friend Brian got married in June. We never gave him a bachelor party so i took it upon myself to set up a date for me and all my friends to go and have a good time. But whats an F1 day without the RX-7club? Im considering renting a track out, depending on how much interest i get. Let me know who wants to go. 18+ unfortunatly, unless you want to watch. F1's rules, im sorry. im pretty sure we're going out for lunch/dinner after again like last time. hopefully a better restaraunt. Im sorry its taken so long. BYOS- bring your own stripper(s). they will not be provided for you. i apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

No obnoxious revving, burnouts, drifting, drag racing, car hopping (?), whatever. lets make this a fun and safe meet that we can hopefully do again. this is the first time ive tried to set up a meet with other clubs, so i am anxious to see how it turns out. hope to see you there.

pete, im planning a meet and cruise at Best Buy at the Greendale Mall before the F1 Meet, since most of my friends are from the area. let me know if you want to meet up before F1. hopefully this meet will be better then the last one, with better food. are you bringin Paddy?

 

Yeah, I'll drag him along. I'm game for meeting you guys at Greendale. Its a bit backwards, but I don't mind.

 

What's the cost on renting the track out? From the sounds of it, this might be big. I've got myself and maybe a few others looking to go up.

Pete- ill meet you at Best Buy at 1:00. sound good? it takes 45 minutes to drive up, but id like to be early.

 

the rx-7 wont be making this meet. i found a way to burn through a 6 puck clutch, and it has more out then in, so she might be done for the season. the good news is i have a brand new factory clutch disc and flywheel sitting around the house, so that should fix it. the bad news is it wont be done by sunday. i'll still be there and at best buy with either the Legacy or RX-8.

David and I are seriously thinking about going north to NHIS. He and are both in 5th place (in the points standings). Me in SM2 and he in Novice Non-stock. Trophy territory. We have to compete in at least 5 events and we're only at 4 so far. David can move up a few spots and I might be able to as well. Have fun at F1. David wouldn't be able to race anyways because of the stinking 18 year old rule. His fast time for track 1 is 19.4 and for track 2 is 14.8. So if any of you beat those times he'll be jealous.

 

yea david was tellin me about that. that's awesome! you guys arent that far behind in points, and hopefully you can get some this weekend. it sounds horrible, but i dont think a lot of people will show up because of the distance, so you might have that advantage which could make it a little easier. either way, good luck and have fun. tell david he doesnt have to worry about any of us breaking his record. we're all novices just going out for a good time. we'll set up a meet at RA next time, but by that time, David might be 18.

 

My best time is a 19.8 I don't think I'll be able to knock off .4, but it could happen with a good cart. Maybe I should go on a crash diet just to save some weight.

Whats the full story on the clutch?
