It's not a list, I just need a gold S4 passenger side fender with good paint. PREFFERABLY with a GXL logo on it

I think the event was great! I had a lot of fun. I was not too big on the announcer, or the way they matched up the cars.

Lots of real unpredictable fights, it was great.

And Team Lexus . . . WOW. Blows my mind.

I thought the event was great! I feel sorry for that ae86 though, getting paired with a car that's at least 2x bigger in every way (1.6L 4 cyl vs 5.7L 8cyl, 160-180 hp vs at least 400, etc...)

superpimp: your car looks nice, very clean so for that. however, I think you might need to work on that idle a little more

Yeah, I should have since my car ended up being undrivable, but I just didn't feel like it... too bummed out, and I was trying to get in touch with the family mechanic to see if he could help me out... but to no avail..

I did show up at the garage afterwards to watch Jason's premiere flight of "MS13B" (MegaSquirt'd 13B for those that are slow) and to drive his g/f's Corolla home

And regarding the event, yeah... the pair-ups were just painfully obvious as to who would win... they should have mixed it up a bit more then that...

But then again, Ken Guchi DID lose in the 05 Mustang....

Ugh. Made a joke about taking a quarter shot every time he said "Are you ready for"

If we had actually done that, we'd all be dead.

superpimp: Yeh, very clean setup. but why does it idle so high? Only PP engines should idle at 2K man :p

And what are you doing for fuel management to deal with that NOS tank? Just turning up that aftermarket FPR? Or do you have a special ECU? I'm interested!

wall nj

I saw this at the Wall NJ drift show on Saturday.
Does anyone know who's car this.
I just want to say that it is very impressive.
I just wish I had a chance to meet you and ask questions.
That is the first fc I have ever seen in a car show in Jersey.

don't even know what car team lexus had (hope it wasn't that is300). i actually know nothing about drifting except what i see on the dvds and in the magazine, i drove an hour away to get an understanding of it. i don't drift and never plan on doing it. but keeping an open mind i went there to see what it was about especially to be part of something new for the east coast. i know what i saw and rhys millen not only had a built car for the event but was very technical in his drifting. especially the ability to use the power he had to help transfer the heavy weight of his car. i am upset i didn't see the young kid (gushi i believe in the mustang) drift because i heard so much about him, but i had an altercation in the stands and i got upset and left.

what's up vosko, who were your friends that were running?

Ahh, ok... no wonder why you thought it was boring then... not enough EXP to know what it's all about...

And "altercation"? WTF? You get drunk and beat someone up? lol

Also, yes... the bright orange IS300 is Team Lexus' official drift car.... even if it's "set up for drag"

the car actually idles lower than that, it just gets that really nice chop that everyone loves around 2k.....i was actually holdin the throttle down a lil bit...as for right now the nitrous isnt hooked up till i get the microtech (just sits there and looks good) i didnt want to take it out cause i would have the holes in the carpet.....but as for right now im running a stock ecu and an safc just for the break in period because i wont really be beating on it, and i can actually get some bills paid...but after that its a fuel pump, 550 for primaries, and microtech...mabye after i get it all running right then ill hook the nitrous up.

It wasn't the 2k idle I was talking about, it was the fact that it missed on about every 8th ignition event.... with a 2k idle it should've been smoother. I think you're running too rich. (not critisizing, trying to help).
