I bought my 7 about a month ago and am struggling along well enough, but i would really appereciate it if someone knowledgeable could help me out with my car. It is a '84 Gsl and i cant get it to idle w/out the choke. There are other minor problems as well but I don't know how to fix them. If there is anyone local who doesn't mind helping me out, could you leave me a PM or an e-mail? Thanks a lot guys!

 

did you get a Haynes manual for ya car yet??? that will help out a whole lot..

 

i have a '84 manual sitting in my room - i got it with the anticipation that i was about to pick one up in addition to my 87 TII. It's yours if you want it. Also "Original Type R" is an FB guy if you want to get a hold of him

 

If you want to bring it over to my shop I can work on it and fix as much as I can, I'm more of a second gen guy, but I'll do what I can.

wow f1blue, you live five miles away from me! I live righ on 543. Small world eh? I wish i could bring my 7 by, but it isn't even titled yet, and it has no exhaust system at the moment . . . Any help is greatly appreciated!
