I'm down, pending an exact date. Pot holes should be taken care of for the most part by now. More importantly, I'm finally back to running after 2 year hibernation.

Vlad - I think he is a **** star!

Duc/Billy - Yes we do have to plan something this summer. Even if it's afternoon at a brewery. More than a few have popped up out this way. Bear's den near dirt farm, new one in Front Royal. are the two I know of off the top of my head.

Hey Jack - good to hear from you. I contacted Bear Chase Brewery to inquire about their parking and road situation - to avoid another "Dirt Farm." Their roads are paved! The parking lot is gravel but that should be fine.

Let's shoot for breakfast at our usual meeting spot - or what the heck, maybe even a new one - and then venture to Bear Chase sometime in June. I still cannot believe it's almost June already. This is the longest my FD has hibernated.

Duc / Vlad / Jack / Rocky the **** star

Great to hear you all talking about it. Rocky said in April that if one of you didn't grab this bull by the horns, he would. Hope to get to see you all in the near future.

Crickets in these parts. Maybe Cocky Rocky has hit Rock bottom and needs our help? Just say the word Rocky!

Well, I'm slated to pick up the FD tonight. Hopefully everything goes smooth. If it does and if I don't go boating this weekend, I will need to put some miles on it to work out the kinks if anyone wants to drive around aimlessly with me. Or maybe even Chick-fil-A tomorrow night, if that's still a thing. Weather looks to be great tomorrow. Possible rain on Sunday it's saying.

If not, how's the next two weekends looking for you guys?

I started working in Herndon and have not been to the Chic-Fil-A meet in over a year, I am sure they still have it, normally like after 8 i think is when people show up, the 5-8 is mostly older classics.

If you are planning on coming there early I can for sure drop by after work!

Not sure now Vlad. I'd like to get there before 8 but Matt said the last few times, it was dead then. Like you said, I thought it was the old timers before 8 and the more rowdy burn-out crowd after 8, which I'd rather avoid. So maybe another day. I'd suggest Dunkin' Cars and Coffee at Dulles Landing on Sunday - but 7-9 am is just wrong.

Speaking of old timers, just heard from Bill. He's ready for a meet-up! Bill, if you want us to come out closer to Laurel, find a spot in the middle we can meet at.

No worries, there always things happening in the area, and I am not a morning person, so C&C is not easy for me. I guess I will have to check my trusted FB events to see where we can crash closer to home and at acceptable time frame.

I'm usually down for a CFA or C&C meet. Like Duc mentioned, the last couple times I went to the Dulles Towncenter CFA meet it was pretty dead till later. The early crowd seems to have thinned out a lot in the last few years. Of course I've only been once or twice in the last couple years so my intel isn't the best. I try to make it over to the Dulles Landing C&C Sunday mornings once a month or so, but it is super early. If anyone know of any other large gatherings in the area feel free to chime in.

Sounds to me like we all need to show up to CFA next friday and find out, it can be later on to stay away from traffic, so how about 8pm?

Duc - here is my text to you on Friday

"Was assuming from your thread talk that I would be coming to Virginia and driving around behind you in your state. If instead, we met in between our two places it would be even easier on an old guy like me.

Just got last step done since last October's fiasco - painting of new left fender area finished Friday, one week ago. Fresh paint NEEDS to be cured by spirited driving !"

So Duc I was waiting word from you. Did you get your FD back on Thursday ?? Did you drive it around some today or go fishing ??

P.S. I don't remember your city, but will meet you in your area or in between - to see you and also any of the others, just for commaradery and hopefully some driving. Weather NEXT WEEKEND, 6/15 & 6/16 is showing as great. Bill Billy Billybiceps

Yup, got the car and it's running well. Definitely need to drive it more often. Rockville would be a good spot to meet up Bill - equidistant between Laurel and Falls Church. Equal travel time too, depending on that beltway American Legion bridge traffic, which is almost always awful. Maybe one day I'll get my "Cars and Cravings" meet-up idea going, where we all drive to grab a bite to eat somewhere. There's this really good taqueria in Gaithersburg called Taco Bar and it's even INSIDE a gas station. The parking is limited though but there's another less busy one nearby. It's been years since I've been though. But a taqueria inside a gas station - a great place to fill-up and hang out with our cars indeed.

Not sure I'll be in town this weekend but if so, Saturday might be good around dinner time.

Also up to try CFA on an upcoming Friday.

No show for me- I'm waiting on plug wires and need to raise my coilovers. I set them too low when I installed them on Tuesday night and my rad fan frame now sits 2.25" off flat ground.

Haha. Slamming it was definitely unintentional. I'm not about that "stance life"!
