So, on sun at rotorfest we notice my car has a nasty backfire when you hit 10k+

I noticed the sound of a vacumeleak and sure enough the intake was cracked. The peice if compltetly off anf I'm looking for someone who can weld aluminum in nj that can take care of this asap.I'm not rich and the damage isn't time consuming. I'd imagine it'd take a skilled welder a half hour or more to do it. Here's the pic. It's the top right corner of the bottom of the intake, the peice is sitting right next to it.



Anyone know of someone that can do this localy?

 

Man those racing beat intakes are notorious for that! any welding shop in your local phone book should be able to handle that.
