So I snuck out to deposit my check around 2:20. I was turning right and on the street i was turning into there was a cop facing the opposite way. There were people crossing so i had to slow down and eventually just stop completely. Pedestrians cross and i get moving, spot a parking space. Parallel park it and out of the corner of my eye I see this Cop pull a U turn in the middle of the street. I think to myself, he's coming for me but why? Nah, cant be coming for me, i havent done a damned thing...so I pay no mind. I go to open the door and almost smacked the cruiser on the fender!!! Oops!!! so he goes your inspection sticker is expired...Damn it i overlooked it yet again. He asked if i was gettin it fixed i told today when i'm done with the bank...
Now I gotta go get up tomorrow morning and go have that taken care of. I gotta move somewhere without sniff test!!!
What i find incredible is that he was able to spot that! he was pretty cool though, and at least i didnt get a ticket!

 

i forgot yall got to get a an inspection every year.. in MD.. we just need it one time.. and do emissions ever so often..

Sniff test in NY? I thought it was just the OBDII connection used to check for emissions.

 

the stickers change color from year to year so if it was expired for a while.. The cops could easily see it from far away since its not the right color...

funny thing is on my FD its been expired since 2001 and its blue, its been expired so long that blue was cycled in again cause blue is this years color...

 

o i got my ways..

ha, I honestly didnt notice too much of a difference between last years and this...this years is blue also, maybe a bit darker? I threw out the old one yesterday when i go the new and didnt even bother to check!

I should just move and stop having to do this crap every damn year! Its a PIA and its gettin harder and harder. Might have to consider throwing the acv/cat and picking up a gm electric air pump...
