Congrats to Ernie T and Rob L. !!

Nice work on the 10 second passes you guys made earlier today at MIR Import Vs. Domestic. I was glad to see no one break anything.

Great run Ernie, i walked in just as you made your 10 second pass and i was very diappointed when you lost! haha but your car is amazing. You got a little loose off your launch when you lost but at least you lost to a fast *** car. Who was driving the red 7 that ran a 12.9?

Dam I should have stuck around, great job on the 10 sec pass.

On a funny note on my way out of mir a group of show judges stopped me and asked why I was leaving. They asked if I had anyone that could accept my award "just incase I won something" I told them just to give my award to who ever was next behind me. How funny would that have been to win best of show Honda.

Joe, what time did you guys stay till? We left at about 6, and the last 5 minutes of our drive we got hit with a HUGE storm. Hail, and huge downpours..couldnt see the lines on the road for a solid couple minutes, pretty scary. We had a car infront of us and then all my friends behind me, so we just took it to 5 mph and just drove out of it. But man i was i hoping for hail damage! But i did spot a couple fds at the show, a BONE stock montego, a black with mazdaspeed shift **** and pfs exhaust, and a riced out kamelian (no idea how to spell it, dont care) one with a veilside kit and a huge wing and tach. Over all, was good..will be there again next year!

Weather is odd, after Ryan and I left we were in Southern Maryland, then NoVa, then Crofton, then FedEx Field and only saw 2 drops of rain the whole night...

Thanks for the support guys, but I've got some serious driving cobwebs to wipe off! Once I get my suspension setup, new slicks and an alignment, I'll much better. As for shifting.....lol......I just need more seat time. I short shifted all day taking my car totally out of boost. Im used to shifting at 7500 with my stock reman, but with Ray's motor I have to shift at 9000 and I could never remember! My best pass which was still horrible driving on my part was a 10.77@133mph at 25psi. Once the suspension stuff is taken car of and I drive better I've got more mph in it as well as et. Then once I get a nice time at 25psi, I'll bump it up.

The red Fd look real nice! i went up to his car and was looking at his setup, but yeah i was thinking the 12.9 was slow for his setup. Wonder what was up. Maybe he was having some trouble with traction? when he got disqualified he ran slower than a 12.9 i think which is weird. I was suprised that i didn't see any more Rx-7's running. Who had the chamilion painted 7 with the veilside kit in the lot? that was driving behind the black Fd? All beautiful cars!

On another note, what did you all think of that CRAZY TRUCK?!?! that did a wheelie about half the track!!! that thing was NUTS! I'd probably say it was one of my favorites to watch go down that track!

Thumbs up

Congratulations!!!! Someone must have a vid of these FDs running the 1/4 mile. Also, those numbers are extremely impressive with the lack of seat time you had in your FD. You might want to consider an Autometer Pro-shift light.
