Hey all,
I'm actually an RX-8 owner, but I'm hoping it's OK to post on this forum as well. We're trying to plan a meet and cruise on Saturday, June 23, meeting somewhere at Newport on the Levee. I thought it would be fun to have some -7's show up as well.

The basic plan is to meet up and hang out for a bit, go for a cruise for part of the afternoon, then wings and a beer after that. Just a chance to meet some other rotor heads in the Cinci area.

I will post the details as they come together. If you check the RX8club site, the Ohio forum is in the Midwest secion, not the Northeast section.

If there are any takers for this, here's the details so far:

-June 23, Newport on the Levee
-Meet 3:00 p.m. at the free parking lot across from Hofbrauhaus on June 23
-Cruise in the afternoon, maybe 100 or so miles (route to be determined, plus maybe some picture taking along the way) and back at the Hofbrauhaus around 6:00 p.m.
-At the Hofbrauhaus from 6:00 for whatever happens there

Maybe some of the boosted -7's could turn up and show us what real horsepower looks like....

 

I'd be interested in seeing more Ohio participation... you'd think we could do SOMETHING. After all, National Trails Raceway, is just 30 minutes east of Columbus. There's soooo many car events here already.

 

Looks like this is actually coming together. One of the guys on the rx8club.com thread says his girlfriend is a photographer and will probably be there to shoot some photos and could burn them to a CD. Link to the rx8club.com thread:

We posted this up on OhioRotaries.com as well. BDC will be tuning some cars in cincy on that weekend. So depending on when we finish up, We should be heading down there as well.

I hope to see some more rotary boys/girls out. I've been trying to organize Cincy meets for a while.
