I'll stop by to meet everybody if I can.

Eage8, I didn't know the new CDC Schedule was out. The site just has last season's posted. Where did you find the new one? Also, which FC do you drive? I've been to a couple of events but have yet to bring my car (rebuild). Were I remember seeing a primer colored one and a red one, were either of those yours?

the primer one is mine and the red one is Ian's (Molotovman, the creator of this thread). What car were you in?

I'm probably going to be in my corolla for most CDC events this year (I'll be winning the small bore championship lol) but I'll probably bring my FC to a few test and tunes and it'll be at AI and WDCR events

The complete schedule isn't out yet which is why it's not on the site, but Ed Chan posted the Woodbridge and Bowie event dates on the CDC forum.

Oh cool, I didn't know there was a CDC forum. I'll have to look that up.

I haven't run yet, but am planning on doing a couple of runs this season. I have a BB FD that I drove to the last Bowie meet but it stayed in the parking lot (still breaking it in). I have a couple of friends that run there though, the two that show up the most though are one that drives a red TR6/gold prelude and another that drives a gray EVO9. They usually have a camera hanging off the side.

I may show to a WDCR event too, I've never been to one of their events. Do they get more runs then CDC? I have the feeling I am going to need a lot of seat time to get used to the car again.

No, you get the most runs at a CDC event, especially the test and tunes, which I recommend. they're on a sunday in frederick and you get almost twice the amount of runs as usual. It's a good way to re-learn a car

normal CDC events you get 6 runs, and most AI and WDCR events you get 4 runs. CDC TnTs you get at least 10 runs sometimes 11 or 12.

Cool I'll have to highlight those TnTs.

Have you ever done (or heard of anyone doing) those WDCR AutoX schools? Are they worth it or just a bore? Seems like you get a bunch of runs out of them (15-20)

Ah I just barely started the actual work part, been planning what to do for months. 8 hours into the tear-down so far, motor and trans are out. Ordered a whole bunch of replacement stuff (hoses, clutch, fuel stuff, etc.) and gotta swap a bunch of parts to the new motor and do a lot of clean-up before I can put it in. Some of the parts haven't come in yet though so who knows how long it'll take. Also doing oil pan brace, shocks, springs, swaybars and mounts, tires, alignment, etc. so it'll be a while before she sees action again. The cold weather has me slacking off and staying inside though ;P
