Goin to practice launching. Anyone goin up? If I hook, I'll run it to the end. Without a NHRA lisc., I'll get booted after only 2 passes so I won't run it full tilt after the 1/8 mile unless I get a good holeshot.

What happened?There was only one FB there.
I dont know if the fb was mazda6guy or not but they put the front up on a tow dolly when they left and a mile or so down the road i saw the car off the road stuck in the woods.It must have came loose when towing it and took a turn for the woods.That had to ruin the night of whoevers car it was.

 

How did it go? I went to Etown tonight for test and tune. It took 3 hours to get there with all the traffic. When I got there it was EMPTY so I knew I would get a lot of runs. First pass the profec was off and I did not realize since it looked like it was lit up! 15psi and the car went 11.4. Next pass I turned it on and expecting to get at least a 10.5 I ended up running a 11.1, the car started breaking up on top. I pulled over and it shut off. Oil was everywhere, not sure why yet. Waited for a while, started it up and the secondary injectors were coming on, unclipped them for now and drove back normally. Will look at tomorrow. I hate when **** like this happens and it costs so much!

The fact that all the kids thought I did great since I beat the cars I raced - priceless!

Nope wasn't me did not make it because of work. It was a nice day for the track though.

 

Looks like we had a similar day Anthony. I got three runs in. My best was a 10.90@132mph with a 1.95 60'. (I suppose the 4mph loss was due to the 90degrees and high humidity) Burnouts wern't a problem, but I figured out my anti-lag is setup up too high in the rpms. Tire pressue was at 12psi. The anti-lag is set now to come out at 30psi and at 8500 which comes out spinning my *** off, then when I hit 2nd it falls out of boost. I'll lower my rpm and perhaps back off some boost to see how it reacts this week. Just trial and error at this point.
Good news is it didn't break anything...lol...
