Cars & Copters 2012 in Plymouth MA (Sun Sep. 16th) - Who's going!?
Last year I was there and saw a couple of FDs from Synaptic Performance. This year Ill be bringing my car and was wondering who else might be coming.
For those unaware Cars & Copters is a show that started back in 2009 to benefit the Jimmy Fund. Every year it grows to greater numbers and this year over 700 people have confirmed their presence. This always looks like a good time and the YR crew always puts on great events. Sadly, one more Cars & Copters event that I can't make - wedding events keep c/b'ing my rotary fun (this time it's a meeting with a caterer for my wedding at noon)!
Are you going to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum Japanese Car Day September 30th? I have a wedding the night before on the Cape, but I'm going to leave the hotel early Sunday to grab the FD to make it up to Brookline for this.

its a pity that not many people here wont make it apparently but, idk, im gonna go check out what they'll have for this year.
I hadn't heard of the Larz Anderson event. I'll make an effort to go but im not sure since I'll be moving at the end of the month. The other good thing about Cars and Copters is that anyone can come and its free admission so there are always a ton of cars!

It looks like it was a pretty good event with four FD's showing: a vintage red on Volks, a single turbo vintage red base with an FMIC, scamil87's '99 spec brilliant black, and a montego blue on RE Amemiya AW7s.
The BBQ from the caterer was pretty damn good, but not as good as this show would have been. I am sorry I missed it.
