Car Shipping Service to MD?

Hi!

I need to get a FB Rx-7 shipped to MD from NC -- does anyone have suggestions or good experiences with a service?
Thus far, I've submitted a listing on uship and requested quotes from two other companies.

(Sorry if this isn't a good place for this post.)

Thanks!

I'll ask the guy I bought my FD from who he used to ship it for you. I don't recall the company name off the top of my head, but it cost him around $350 to ship the car from SC to to my place in MD. Car was transported on one of those standard car transporter trucks that the dealers use, so it was open. But the car arrived safely with zero shipping damages.

The reason I know what it cost him to ship it is because he misunderstood how this shipper does business. I had to pay cash on delivery to get the car unloaded off the transporter truck at my house, which the seller promptly reimbursed me for as he agreed to cover shipping.

I have used Robert Poe who helped me take my FD up to Pennsylvania and Maryland from Virginia for service when I took it to Rotor Piston Motorsportz. His phone number is (240) 604-0202....

Uship.com is the website I used to move my FDs up and down the east coast. You post the job and people bid on it. It gives you the ultimate power in selecting who will be allowed to move your machine. Theres all sorts of options you can select as well such as open or closed transport

I used Plycar / Plycon Transportation Group to ship my FD from MD to NY. I was very happy with their services. Their price was fair and I was looking for an enclosed trailer. Good luck!

Ended up going with:
https://www.carshipio.com/public/car...use-transport1

HOUSE TRANSPORT1
2025 BROOKLYN LN # 13
ROCKINGHAM, NC, 28379
910-434-2930

Seemed solid, no complaints. I think he does it as a side gig. Found him through uship, and he had pretty good reviews on there. I don't think he does coast-to-coast, though.

Good Car Shipping in Florida

About a month ago, I wanted to ship my car from Florida to Calfornia. I went online to a website that provides estimates from several trucking companies. Then I hired Apollo-E Auto Transporters to move my car from my old house to a new house. The two men they sent were extremely nice and handled my furniture with care. They were on time, worked fast and efficiently, were friendly and funny.I have called Apollo-E a number of times and he has coordinated several hauls for us. We have always been satisfied with the polite service that we receive both from the dispatch and the drivers. We would recommend them.

Shipping your FB Rx-7 to MD from NC sounds like an exciting adventure. It's a great idea to cast a wide net by listing on uShip and requesting quotes from multiple companies. This way, you can compare and find the best option that suits your needs.
