Calling SexyRX
Hey,
We met a few weeks ago in Valley Forge park when you caught me checking out.....your car.
I figured you'd be active on these forums, so I looked you up. Hope you don't mind. I have been thinking about the business you set up concerning RX stuff. I told you I was contemplating the same sort of situation to satisfy my unholy love for old italian cars, but (as I mentioned) I have no clue how to do that kind of thing. If you wouldn't mind chatting about it, drop me a line.

^^^^^ What Bacon said. Plus it kinda saves face in case she replies with "No."
Hey Ash...looks like you got a stalker LOL.
EDIT: James, just friendly advice. Work on subtlety lol. Saying "checking out...your car" prob doesn't quite cut it

Check out her profile, it has a link to her website, well picture page. I know some girls who are good picture takers and don’t look as good in person. But they’re a few pictures on there that if she’s no where near as good looking, she’s still hot so I think your first instinct is right, and everyone here raves about her. Although some of the rotor freaks on here haven’t see a girl (aside from their monitor) in years. But IMHO shees HOT.

LOL I finally found this thread! You guys are sooo sweet! Really, I am so flattered. I definitely think my FD's are the hot ones- I could never compete with their sexiness!!!!
Poor James!! He's a really nice guy, we were talking about how I set up a company under which I own my FD's and am now able to write off alll related expenditures as legit business expenses. Occasionally I also sell parts, but I'm no distributor. But the company (Kansei Rotary Ventures LLC) also exempts me from paying sales tax on cars that I purchase and many other things. It is fascinating. And it really keeps my insurance down.

for running after your FD, waving my hands like a madwoman!! Really, you must let me know when you visit again!
I'm curious how this affects property tax. Here in Fairfax County, I know that you may be able to write off a lot of business expenses if the car is used for business purposes, but HOLY SMOKES, the property tax on business cars is craaayyyzeee. Offsets all possible write-offs you can come up with haha. Not only is the business property tax higher than private property tax, but I don't believe there's any tax relief on it either, so you pay the full brunt of it.
Neal, keep that in the back of your mind. When it comes to Fairfax County, ALL bets are off. But I AM curious nonetheless

The main point of forming a business is to title the cars in it's name, reduce insurance costs, and more easily facilitate my FD- purchasing habit by eliminating sales tax, and also writing off car-related expenses as legitimate business expenses.
Ramy, I don't know about in MD, but as a FL LLc w/ S-Corp tax status, that business property tax thing doesn't even enter into the equation. Although the cars are in the company name, they are labeled private use. And I do know that FL has MANY tax advantages over other states.
Of course, what I've said here is only a vague overview of the process and situation, just to summarize the main advantages it affords me.
