I can meet up there @ that time. Anyone that doesn't need to meet up to follow in a line can just go there if they live nearby SSS or what not.

 

I don't live to far from SSS so I will try to meet everybody there. I would like to do something afterwards if anybody is up for it.

 

Sorry, I've been busy moving and don't have internet service right now, except for at work. The 11th would have been nice, but I can't make it on the 10th because I'm helping a friend move to his new place. Oh well, it would have been great to see you guys, but there will always be a next time!

Also, this may be the same car, I saw another red tII parked in the middle of Boulevard Monday afternoon. As it drove away a woman was driving. Does that belong to anyone on here??

Joe's car is black, so it wasn't him. I have seen a red TII around also, but not by Innsbrook.

 

Josepi- That Evo is pretty cool. I drove it a couple of months ago.
I have seen a red FC in the west end as well. I have seen it in Short Pump near the Ukrops twice. Does anybody on this forum own that car?

 

There's a guy that has a red S4 TII that lives in brandermill. He paced me home (err to my GFs house) one day and gave a wave.

There's a silver S4 TII that's always near park and lombardy, but an older white lady drives it.

There's a repainted white NA FC that some girl used to own that worked around harbor point, maybe she sold it...had a SMALL sign in there.

Saw a FB on the side of powhite the other day, owner nowhere in site...I wanted to go buy it from him...I could use some parts

There's a blue FC with a dented passenger door around VCU from time to time.

I saw a younger girl driving a red S4 TII twice down powhite and getting off at the midlo exit...shoulda followed

Also, another sighting: Black fc, '90 or '91 i think on 64 west near the shortpump exit Wednesday around 1:15. Anyone here??

 

The carytown is a gathering to drive to southside speedway. It's just so those that don't know exactly how to get there can get there via the fastest route possible. Otherwise, everyone is showing up to SSS (southside speedway) at the same time (11-12ish). Do you know where it is?

 

my friend does, he drives a civic, so as long as yall dont mind a 4-banger there, i mean, ill be drive my rx7, ill just be following him because he wants to check out the rx7's too. hes not ricey, i promise

 

The red S4 TII is the one I have seen before, and I think that girl still has her white FC. She worked somewhere around Ukrops. And the guy who drives the blue dented FC takes dance lessons (or teaches them) from a place next to my girlfriend's work.

There are a lot more 7's that I see around here that I haven't mentioned, hopefully someday they will find the forum.

 

I wish I could come to this meet, but I'm stuck studying. Damn! I'm glad that there's even more people coming out. Who would have thought that there was such a following in Richmond? Definitely not me. Let me know how everything pans out and post pics. I'll try my best to make it to the next one or try to plan another one.

By the way, does anyone know a place who won't look under my car for the VA safety inspection? I'm driving around with a sticker that expired in January. I'm too busy and lazy to put the main cat back on.

I realize Carytown may be out of the way, but its just a place to meet so we can drive together.

 

dzungh-I don't think you will have to worry to much about passing an inspection. Most mechanics will look under the hood and not have a clue what anything is. As long as you have one cat then you will pass.

 

David, I wish that were the case. I took my 90 vert to what I thought would be a "safe" inspector, but he found a small hole near the passenger side muffler and rejected me. I'm trying to get a new system on before the weekend, but will have to get it inspected Sat. morning - I might not be able to make it in time to meet up with everyone.

I'm going to find out later this month if I know someone. Only hitch is, i'm gonna have to TIP the guy. That is of course if I don't get a nice catback by 8/30ish...going to try and order one tommorow. Apexi N1 single. Sure i'd love a dual, but as of right now, I can't afford it...

 

Damn...we shoulda swapped mufflers for a day. I have a leak around my drivers side muffler. Haven't jacked it up to check if it's the gasket at the flange, the Y or the muffler. I'm just gonna swap out the whole rustbucket.
