Borrow Ball Joint Splitter near Annapolis?

Guys,

Does anyone have a ball joint splitter in Annapolis that I can borrow? If I don't find one today, I'll track one down tomorrow at a store.

Thanks,
Brian

Most people call it a pickle fork and you don't really need it. Just wack the knuckle with a big hammer.

heh heh

Yeah the only issue is there is very little room for hammering... I already gave it a few tries.

I was looking for the V shape tool rather than the pickle fork since those can sometimes mess up the boot.

The fork will almost always break the boot, hence I use them as a last resort. Hitting the side of the tie rod end with a sledge will usually pop it loose. Or you can use the right size pitman arm puller.
