I was only asking so I dont feel so bad I did not go, if like 60 cars came I would feel bad. I was up in the air about going then certain people I was going to go with ended up at Etown or at least planned to go to etown so I scrapped my trip.

 

Im pretty sure alot of local people (even the ones that didnt say they were going or not going to bear mountain) ended up at etown anyway.

It was a much better event for the day IMO.

i would much perfer this kind of meet to something at etown.....these meets its just friends.....something like etown its friends and a **** load of dumbasses, *** holes, a crap load of juice heads and ricers........

You must not have been to etown lately.

They do security checks now. They check your trunks and if your car is full, they make the backseat people get out so they can check whats in the backseat area.

If you bring a cooler, they make sure there is no alcohol stored.

The environment is ALOT more fun at etown than our meets. Because for one, theres racing. 2, there is a wide variety of cars and 3, the area is huge, its like one big party.

And the girls there...lets not get started on that.

Yeah i hear u man.... the "meets" and "etown" are both good for different things.... Im still new to the rotary community.. so i like the meets more because there "MEETS".. Its fun meeting people and learning new things...

I feel like with etown u have to roll with a group of friends. IF not your just gonna park in a lot far away and sit in a crowd by your self.

You dont get the close interaction that you get with meets... Looking at cars... asking questions...

Again i think each is better for different reasons...
I loved this weekend because nothing's better than pushing you car on tight turns with about 10 other enthusiast ..

Plus all the girls at etown are with there boyfriends.. and if not then the models want money to take pictures with them..

Im not saying meets suck or our meets suck. Im just saying compared to etown, etown is obviously more entertaining. If you take the group of people from the meet, into etown. Not only can you still BS with them but you also get to see other cars and interact with them and watch their cars run. Its an all day event so you get your moneys worth if you're spectating.

I've been in the meet deal since 01. I was apart of ALOT of car groups, from all the different cars i have owned. Its all the same thing, talking about the same thing. Its cool but sometimes you need something different.

And there are alot of single girls aka ****** at etown. Just yesterday 2 girls walked up to my friend and I and asked if we can buy a shirt from them. I said ill buy a shirt if she gave me a kiss. She did and i said, ok ill think about it and walked away. She laughed. Thats totally off topic but girls should be present when theres cars.

I dont know if you noticed it yet but our meets is a FREAKING SAUSAGE FEST.

Might as well call the bitch "tuesday's nathans".

 

we are going to e-town on sunday......well most of us are for the circuit track....

Wow, so people want our meets to be like the rice fests that NOPI puts out. Just go get a girlfriend and bring her and your all set, don't blame a car meet for your lack of girls.

 

It was nice meeting a bunch of you on Sunday, I wish I didnt leave early (gf was putting up a fit)... hope we can do it again some time.
