I've allready seen "Camera Enforced" signs beneath the regular 30MPH signs on 97 through Olney. Been looking for cameras on a stick but haven't seen any. I guess it's because they're going to be vans.

Since these are supposedly automatic and indiscriminate, does this mean that the the fuzz is also eligible to receive fines?

We have some of those pretty close to here too.
I think it sucks. I wish somebody would build a machine to do a part of my job for me, but still pay me to do the job.

As I understand it, they always are except in certain. defined, emergency situations. You may have noticed, though, that the law isn't carefully enforced in that case.

It's still BS, in England the speed cameras take your money for going 5 over the limit. If you can honestly say you go 55mph on 95 then you're full of ****, or you're the one who causes traffic jams.

tHERE legal in NYC but illegal in NY state. Nassau county is now trying to get legislation to allow them to put cameras at intersections that are at high risk for accidents.

One day i was on the Crossisland doing bout 110mph when i saw a DT coming up on my tail. He flashed his cops light so i quickly moved over from the fast lane, when he blew past me doing over 115mph lol.

And john you dont drive slow, stop lying lol

yes and no, there is a web site that i wish i remember that talks about jammers dectors and what not, that also did the same stuff with the plates. They will work to stop some wave lengths of light but not all. The guy was an ex-cop, explained all his testing and results, so they sounded pretty legit. If get time to be google happy today I will post the link back.
