I did a set by myself. It's not that complicated if you were to save the cash and try it for yourself. Takes a couple of hours per seat.
There is a place in Waldorf called Ace Auto Upholstry though if you prefer. I am sure they are in the yellow pages.

Hey Fong! Long time!

If you wanna just pay for it and get it over w/, and have it done PERFECTLY, take it to:

Craftsman Auto Upholstery
3131 Draper Dr # D
Fairfax, VA 22031
(703) 278-8550

I'm sure Dave's right and you can do it on your own...but again, if you want it perfect, Craftsman is the place to take it. They're contracted by Ferrari to do their work! And he's got a bunch of restorations too, like an old Stingray Vette, etc

Any estimate on how much it'd cost per seat to get them redone? My driver seat is a mess. I've never seen such a big hole in a bolster before.

I have no idea. I got an estimate to recover a genuine RZ Recaro seat w/ the original fabric from Recaro, and it was $500 installed, which is awesome, considering the original material (which is fire retardant, so you can't just use some generic crap) is just under a grand from Mazda Japan...

You're in Herndon...drive by, give it a shot lol

Very good, but not cheap. To completely re-do my driver's seat in a perforated leather that matched OEM was $900.

I have read posts on the 1st Generation mailing list from people who have bought the DIY covers from eBay. All of them were pleased with the results.
