I"m a lifelong car guy but totally new to rotaries. I just acquired a 93 fd, but the car is very rough. Is anyone available to come and take a look at the car before I try to start it and let me know what's what? Food/drinks on me, and i'll pay Please PM me.

 

Define very rough? Did you have the motor compression tested prior to purchase? That and making sure it’s not burning coolant would be the first two things to check on it.

 

@Max_Spd does side jobs on FD's in the area and has some single turbo kit options available if your twins need replaced etc. He can also compression test if you think you need it.

When is this happening? If it fits my schedule, I wouldn't mind driving out there and observing. I'm trying to get people to meet at IHOP on Sunday but it's crickets out there so if this is Sunday morning, I'm down. Fairfax Station is it?

 

Yeah most people are busy on other forums, so they will be able to meet up at local Cars and Coffee, on a Sat or Sun or both. We planned it for a Sunday...day!
