KDR isn't around by name (the "K" left, now it's just the "D"), Dave is still in business. His shop in Lenhartsville, PA is called Speed 1.

It's the only brick and mortar shop I truly trust in the NE these days...

I've heard great things about KDR/Speed 1 but JPR Imports in Blackwood, NJ is my go-to place. Jim is an awesome guy and has done amazing work on the three Rx-7's I've owned ('79, '88 and '89). I have no personal experience with Speed 1 but I know you can't go wrong with either place.

Cool Ty. I recall seeing your car there often. I spoke Dave on Thursday. Good to know he is still around. I will be seeing him shortly.

I see you already made your decision, but I'll give a +1 to Dave & his shop. I've been going to KD/Speed 1 since I got my RX in 2005 and Dave has always taken care of me & my RX. He has gone above & beyond to keep my car running right & me as a happy customer.

I would only take my car to IRP and speed1. I've been to JPR but never had work done there. Jim is a great and knowledgeable fella though.

I concur with all who have contributed so far. I think closest to you would be IRP. Give Ihor a call.
