I am about an hour from worcester, so I don't have any ideas for where. Either Sunday or Monday is fine w/me. I would think 1 or 2 pm is the best time to meet.

If you wanna have it on Columbus day weekend, I know that the MR2 owner's club is having a meet/drive that same weekend; perhaps we could all hook up. I'm gonna be taking my FC off the road and driving my MR2 next week, but more relevantly, if you want I can mention it to them and see if we can all get together. Especially because I'd hate to go to one and miss the other, or have them on separate days and have to drive out to western Mas/NH twice...

(Taken from the thread on MR2OC.com) In the spirit of a semi-tradition dating back 5 years now, this year's fall foliage meet is tentatively planned for 7 October (Columbus day weekend) in Southern NH. Event will kick off with a group breakfast (if you can get up early enough for it) followed by an hour on a local Go Kart track, a backroads group drive and a late lunch. The drive would likely go Westward so that people coming from Western MA or CT would have a shorter drive home. I would have liked to hold this one week later, but the Go Kart tracks most close after Columbus day weekend. Rain date would likely be 8 October.

Anyway, I need to guage interest before I commit $ to renting the Go Kart track for an hour on that morning. So, who's a definate and who's a maybe?

 

i dont know if i mentioned it yet, but ill most likely be in for this meet. my car should, most likely, be back from the shop by then. im all set with go-carting and driving to NH, but if you end up in the general central massachusetts area, im in for sure.

 

I doubt the 7 would be able to go, but I might be able to come up. It's gonna be in Worcester?

Is anyone still interested in joining with the MR2 group? There will probably be some Evo/STi owners there, as well as plenty of Celica Alltracs and regular Celicas. I'm more partial to doing that mainly because I'll be putting the FC away for the winter and getting in my MR2.

Hey heres an idea...lets just meet up at the dicks sporting goods store in worcester and lineup all the sevens (and other cars, whatever they may be) next to one another and see what people think. I have no other suggestions :/

 

I'm at college right now, so my 7 isn't on the road at the moment. But I would be willing to take the T to Worcester if this is going to be a mainly stationary meet.

However, if it's gonna be at 1 p.m. on Monday, I'd have to pass. Why isn't this on the Saturday or Sunday? More people could come that way.

 

well i figured most people would have monday off sinse it is a holiday. but if it doesnt work for people we could probably do sunday. only 2 weeks away. does everyone see where we will meet?
