Well after almost 7k worth of crap and all the work thats what I got crap!!
No power getting to the starter,jumped it over though got it to spin to get compression #s and its ****! Yesterday I got like 25 to the front and hardly anything to the back.Put some atf in spun it and let it set over night.Today I just checked it out wow!! I was excited almost 100 to the front.But the back hardly anything so I know the motor is crap.
Sometimes you just can not win.
Soon to be on fire!!

This car has been death.Every bolt rusted,every line crap and on and on.I have replaced everything almost.Took the fuel filter off and this car must not have moved for 5 years at least.It smelled horrible not even like gas.I got to drain the tank and now hope the fuel pump works its one of the few things I have not replaced.I am hoping I can get it to fire up soon and maybe get something going with the back rotor if not it will be going in the ne for sale section because I am not going to put another motor in it.

 

oh...well good luck, although i think its odd that the rear went first...usually on s5's its the front that goes first....or is that the s4's? ah i always mix them up

 

Man that sucks Roy. Take some sea foam and spray in there real good then turn it over and let it sit. Then the next day spray more and turn over and let it sit. Then see what the results are, the sea foam brought the engine that came with my 10th ae to life and runs good and starts with no problem it sat for a year or so but the guy turned it over every once in awhile. The car sat for a couple years with a 1/2 tank full of premix which was not pretty so i took everything off my other 10th ae to make it work. Now i just gota swap brakes. I got a fuel pump if you need it and some other stuff.

 

You want believe what happened today lol this car had to have been setting for at least 5 years.No power to the started and the fuel pump was not comming on.Took the fuel pump out and wow horrible did not even smell like gas it looked like syrup.Now I have to replace the tank.Brian is getting me a tank tomorro.If you got an extra pump hell ya man I need one bad!!! This is the kicker after the battery was on for a good 5 hours the damn headlights came up and started bling and the horn went nuts.The anti theft **** started working.I unplugged the battery hooked it back up and the damn motor would turn over now.It took 5 hours for the car to wake up.Completly wierd.

 

Gotta get some new wheels these are the old ones of the gxl need a better offset.but damn shes sexy!

 

Yea i got one sitting it was the pump outa my other 10th ae and it worked before i took the engine out of it but i switched it with my FD pump in my 10th ae since i got a supra pump for my FD and have bigger injectors in the FC with the rtek. Ill be around tomorrow after noon if you wanna come by and pick it up 1044 oak tree and you cant miss the rx7 lol. I gota swap brakes and bleed them since i want to get mine on the road asap.

 

Mine took about an hour to wake up lol, my door lights and beeper werent working but the out side lights worked and engine would run and then they just started workin. Kinda weird but works fine now. Im just glad it runs and i got lucky with the timing since i just stabbed it and made no more adjustments. Had a bad fuel leak though on the primary injectors but fixed that but it started on the first try which was a first for me. Now if i can just keep this one running.
