Jason, how many cars are you expecting?

 

It could be anywhere from 10 to 100. We have posted this on a few forums including some local ones. Im just going to show and see what happens

might want to check with qsl to make sure we can still be there. I was there last night and some chick who possibly could have been drinking left the hotel next door in an argument with her sister. She left through the back exit of the hotel in a car leaving her sister in the hotel parking lot. She proceeded to come flying around the corner from texas roadhouse to qsl. She skids for a minute trying to regain conroll of the car, she hits the curb hits a fire hydrant and slips her car upside down and lands this way.

Right infront of the qsl parking lot pull in area. The manager that night came out and told us all to leave. Even though this person was not affiliated with us, i dont think we will be able to just hang out.

this was one craz night last night let me tell you.

 

im still thinking about coming down even though my rotary engines are not in anything driveable...

I might go. My car is in the paint shop. I don't think it'll be out before the 14th.

 

It would be nice to see everyone, rotary running or not, make it to hang out and get to know everyone. Just bring a chair and hang out, and eat some BBQ.

Things with QSL should be fine. I checked last week. I'll check again to be sure.


NEW INFO:

Parking: When you pull into the parking at the building, you will see that you can go left or right to park. RX7's will be parking on the left, behind the building. I'll have a sign up, so please help with the parking.

I know from my count on this forum and others, I'm looking at seeing 40 + RX 7's. Along with 20 + other respectable cars that have said they would be coming out. Some things of interest to look at should be a turbo'd 3 rotor, GT42 (lots of porting), and several other single and twin variations. I would still like to see a list though.

As for QSL; I just got off the phone with them. We have no problems with our reservation. They are excited to have us there.

Don't forget your chairs. See you in 5 days.

 

weather looks like its going to cooperate for the meet/bbq cookout...

just ordered few parts from ray(check valve(port air), and turbo control solenoid)
and she should be up and running thursday...ready for sat.


lilgt6 ..... if my car if good to go...you still want to meet somewhere(summit racing, etc...) and head down ...
and if anyone else wants to meet up on the way down...

looks like im not gonna make it they need me to work all day sat. Ill try to get off at 5 and come down fo a lil bit maybe go to QSL. maybe ill come down for lunch im only a mile away at time warner.

 

I will PM you my email address to work out the details. As of right now Summit Racing sounds like a good meeting spot, I was thinking maybe 10am but that is subject to change.

ill be there to bad i dont get my fd till next week so ill cruz and take pics in my del sol if only it was next sunday well i hope to see alot of 7's there and meet a lot of people so see everyone on sunday

 

The meet is on SATURDAY - If you go on Sunday you will not see many 7's!

It's for the RX7 store. Once we get to QSL, anyone who cruised up there with us will be parking together.

holy **** how did we miss that!?!?!?!?!!!!! must've happened right after we left.

anyway, ill be there, im EXTREMELY excited. ill bring along atleast one old shool rotary with me, maybe two.

 

I am still planning on going as of right now, lol it is my sisters birthday party on saturday , so what time is everybody going to try and meet up at the rx7 store, either way i am still going i just want to be there when everybody else is (not too early or too late)lol

 

10am-7pm? with a cruise to QS&L for dinner afterwards.

 

im meeting up at summit racing at 10....should be there by 12:30-1:00(depending on how many cops i see)

but i still need to get my parts from ray

i got a portable corn hole (baggo) game if you want me to bring it to the meet...
either way ill be there if its in the fd ...or prelude

also if anyone has greddy pulleys for sale...or if jason has any in stock ...i'd like to pick them up also...
