I could wash the car and roll out tonight if people are going to show. It's that or start wiring up/connecting my new MAC solenoids

 

My car's actually clean/waxed for the first time in a year and a half.

 

Not much interest tonight it looks like. Oh well just means I don't have to wash the car. It's filthy from last w/e at Summit and I'm DDing it anyway since I sold the GVR4 last week :|

Yea, I've been daily driving, racing and working on that car for 13 years. I have a lot of good memories with that car, but it was time

 

I bet. You decide what to get as a replacement yet?

 

Not yet. I've been riding the bike a lot since the weather's been nice. I looked at some trucks so I can tow the FD to track events further from home more frequently but I have no place to put a trailer

 

U-haul trailers are awesome, cheap, and never need to be stored.

I used one to go get the beast from Chicago, cost me less than $100 to rent it (with insurance of up to $20k in damages)

 

Anybody else going to stop by the CFA meet tomorrow?

Planning on heading over to the Mach V dyno night after grabbing some food.

 

I should be able to make it out tonight. What time are you going to the Mach V thing? I didn't know they were doing an event and haven't been over there in ages.

 

Depends on the turn out at CFA, I haven't been to one of these meets for awhile.

Mach V is running a Friday night dyno event. Think the last dyno runs are at 8?

 

Im really looking forward to taking the banana out tonight, hope to see a bunch of faces at Chic!

It was pretty thin, you didn't miss much Mike. Justin and I were there for a bit then went over to Mach V. That must have been winding down too. The only neat car there was an R8 but it wasn't on the dyno.

 

Weather is looking good for tomorrow, any takers? Not many good days left and daylight savings starts in a few weeks.

 

I will definitely show up early tomorrow.

 

I'll try and get there early as well to take advantage of what little light there is left after work. I'll probably take the new car though, the FD is pretty beat up after the last track event.

 

HAHA, Matt did you buy that for the eventual drivetrain swap?

I might be out to CFA tonight, probably not though cause I have a lot of work to do on the cars before the AutoX & TnT this weekend. But, If I get done early, I might need to put some miles on a car to test out the repair. If so, I'll show up.
