How far away do you think that meet is? 2 hours?

 

That depends more on whether we take the highway or try and find some 'fun' roads. But I'd estimate it to be more like 1-1.5 hours from you by highway (depending on traffic).

If I were going to set a meet-up spot for people in the DC area I'd say everyone meet at exit 29 on 95 (first one north of 495) because it is along everyone's way. MAP It should only be another 35 min or so from there.

 

I can't make it the car show in PA this weekend. I have too much going on. Maybe I will see you at the Dash Motorsports show in Manassas in a couple weeks.

 

Aiight, it looks like I am the only one from Va trekking up anyway. Unless I can convince some more of these guys tomorrow night. (the meet is in Md BTW) But, I don't know tomorrow night might be a wash though, they are calling for PM scattered thunderstorms.

Oh, and post up a link to info about the Dash Motorsports meet in the DC Area thread. I haven't heard of it.

Here ya go! It's called the "Mega Meet." It was a lot of fun last year. Some really nice cars showed up.

 

Anyone gonna venture out tonight? 30-60% chance rain between 6-10pm. Which means there is a 70-40% chance of it not raining....

Is the weather going to wash out the meet again?

 

I don't mind risking 30% chance of precip if other people are going to show.

 

It just might....although the forecasts have varied a bit. I think I just may play it safe and seek shelter for the RX-7 tonight.....I'm thinking a safe overnight garage like a hospital's or airport's or metro's until Monday.
