These are the people that I take my rx-7s to, but they are about 3 hrs away form you.

VA, Middlebrook, Augusta county (between harriosnburg, and Lexington)
Rosen's Garage, Ted Mooney
Phone 540 886 7800
Fax 540 886 6008
I have been taking my GTU and TII to them for a while, and they do good work, reasonable rates too. They have several 2nd gen S4 parts cars if you need parts.
I see 1st and 2nd gen cars in there quite often, they do work on 3rd's to.

I will actually be looking into getting a new paintjob by Christmas. I think Artisan Autobody is a pretty good shop. They r located in Manassas. A couple of the guys that work there drive rx7s if that makes any difference lol. But i havent had any personal experience with them. Let me know what place u pick and how it went please

Best body shop in the area, hands down, is Dan Rose's Mr. Spoiler (www.mrspoiler.com). He owns FDs, and has worked on the plethora of FDs that came through PFS and RP back in the day when they were located in Manassas as well. His work isn't cheap, but it is TOP NOTCH.

wish to god I had known that a year ago
I was driving my FC around Staunton and the transmission went
Took the car to a local trans shop in Stuarts Draft that dicked around with the car for 2 months and fucked me over royally on the price (I asked for a rebuild and got a junkyard trans and it stil cost me a grand) - Johnsons Automotive, avoid them at all costs
My folks live out that way so I'm out there a couple times a month
I'll have to drop by that shop and say hi
