What can I say....I like gauges. I have a memory tach, amber shift light controlled by a programmable switch, oil pressure light, Westach dual pyrometer, oil pressure, water temp, oil temp and a volt meter. Other than the pyrometer all the gauges are new old stock Stewart Warner that I found on ebay cheap. The gauges are rubber mounted.

The lights are all I really see when I am racing hard. The other gauges are used during practice/qualifying or if I find myself alone on track. I actually used 2 water temp gauges with the same scale for water and oil so I can see temp differences faster. To me knowledge is power and I would rather see a problem before it gets out of hand.

Wideband and water temp. Oil pressure is useful but if your stock one works then I see no need to replace it with an Aftermarket unit.

i would rather receive an audit-able warning if i'm over 220 water temp, or low oil pressure. lights that come on also help, is there gauges out there that will do these things?? thats one great thing about the stock cars, the warning buzzer for coolant( level ) for no oil pressure( or level i think),, a light when the fuel gets too low. i could go without a fuel gauge if i had just a fuel light..
