power increase?

I just recently got an 88 rx7 n/a and would like to add a couple horses onto it.
I am new to rotaries and do not have preview mechanic skills. I was wondering what are a couple bolt and things i can do to the car so i can make it run strong. Also, this will be my daily driver and would like the car to be stable but I want to enjoy my car.

No rude comments just advice please.

1. make sure the engine is healthy and has fresh tuneup/maintenance parts.
2. you'll have to search for the details on your own, but after that, start with an exhaust system.

Yeah I had probs with with my cat and a guy that works on 7's here told me to go ahead with a full exhuast headers n pipes and it ran alot stronger. For bolt ons that the first!! And dont put a Cold air intake cone without a cold air box. Cone by itself does more damage than good.

Have fun with ur 7 I know i do

I love my 7 like it's my own girlfriend. I put my blood, sweat, and tears into it.
For the advice, thank you guys.
