NE Possible engine rebuild

I've got an S4 13B from an 88 2nd gen vert that I'm going to be sticking into my 1971 Volkswagen Squareback, I'm just wondering sense I've never rebuilt or even cracked a rotary engine apart, how easy is it to do? can i take it apart and be able to take it apart without having to change anything if I'm careful?

I know this might be a stupid question and has probably already been asked but it's just in case i need to rebuild it I'd prefer to do it myself... Also thinking I might street port the engine but not sure as of yet.
