noob questions '85 12a

where to buy a good solid electrical radiator fan that's more or less plug and play?
i've seen everywhere they are recommended, but havent seen any links to where to buy a good one at?

secondly, who would/wouldnt recommend this fuel pump:
Mallory 4309 Fuel Pressure Regulator for RX7 1975-1985 - Racing Beat ?

im running a 85 12a with 105k, racing beat headers, some aftermarket mid, no cat, oem muffler, mikuni carb, ported intake mani, with the 5spd

Lastly,
going to remove the rats nest within the next few days. the small black piece with the Mitsubishi icon on top, what is that and should i remove it as well?

you're probably just going to have to spend some time searching and see what has worked for members here on the long term. i have seen some people get highly recommended aftermarket fans and later report that they got burned by them because they failed or simply did not work and i have seen guys buy junkyard fans from other cars and never complain. you're just going to have to look into it for yourself.

seems to be a good pump and regulator. i've never used a Mallory pump, but i have heard good things about them in passing. i do have a Mallory regulator (though not that model) and so far it seems to work fine.

would probably suit you best to post a photo of you are referring to.
