Intake sizing

Anyone have any information on how to properly size intake runner diameter? This would be for a bridgeport. I've done some searches but haven't found any hard information, if there is actually any..

Thanks

Since many well built bp engines are in competitive race cars you will most likey find it hard to get solid numbers, especially since the intake needs to be tuned to your specific bp. However the weber 48ida, or a similarly sized itb setup seams to be a fairly common and proven way to make power on a bp. Just an idea/reference to a good starting point. plus with itb's it's considerably easier to change/tune runner lengths
