People say good things about the RB road race system. If I understand correctly on a car with stock ports, it makes the most power of the two RB systems. I have no personal experience with it. I for years had the version of the RB street complete system Mazdatrix sold that used the HKS cat-back section instead of the RB one. I liked it and it made a noticeable improvement over stock.

As to the Apexi N1 I think from what I've read it will be a wash between the RB street system or the front section of the RB plus the N1 cat-back except the N1 will be the louder and probably the loudest of all three.

If I were never going turbo I'd go with the road race system. Then if I built a ported motor down the road I would modify it to put a collector in it to create mid length primary system similar to Defined Auto work's header.

If I thought I may go turbo I'd do the same but keep either the cat-back portion of the RB street system or the Apexi N1 to connect to what ever downpipe/mid-pipe/pre silencer you use with the turbo setup.

felt better low end power with the street setup,I think the road race setup would work best with ported engines,i'll install the apexi cat back this weekend to see the difference.

Cool. I've always wondered how the two systems compared back to back.
