This may sound like a stupid question...but do you really need to leave those in there?

Do those sleeves do a whole lot to help in cooling things off, cuz the turbo ones dont have the baffles.

its actually there for noise. you should have a sleeve in there, but you can try and grind out the na ones, get turbo ones, or you can try and make some

 

It *had* some in there, before I drilled the spring pin and removed them. I was just curious if it would cause problems to leave it out after everything was ported and polished.

I have some turbo ones I could put in if they are absolutely necessary.
