carb'n question

i was thinking of carbing my 13b na. But i wanted to know what happens with the afm. i tried searchin but i found mostly 12a threads on carbing. any info on this would be good.

It eliminates all the sensors on your intake system. So you just rip it out.

yeah. its easy. i put weber carbs on my first fc, and i was only 16. i didnt even know what i was doing. But it was successful and i even tuned it. so dont let people put you down!

thanks man.. ive worked on carbs b4 but ive never changed a efi motor to carb thats why i was asking. what about the ecu? it just remains there

this is why everyone tells you to reconsider.

if you are taking off the efi to put a carb on, then you take off the efi!

just like to put efi on a carb car, you would remove the carb

will a racing beat 51 ida carb work well with a bridgeport motor?

i believe u'll still need the ecu for the ignition, unless u plan on changing to a distributor also.
