202whp 13b Cosmo NA

Just wanted to share a fc i tuned the other day at Lucky 7 racing.
Quick details on this fc built by lucky 7.
13b cosmo NA small streetport
s5 rotors
factory balanced( matching counter weights)
Haltech sprint RE
720cc Injector dynamics
850cc secondarys
Stock fc 13b header( yes the brick header)

202whp @8500rpm

Im sure with some RB headers it would be easy 10-20whp.

Enjoy

That much power with the brick manifold is VERY impressive. Gotta love those Cosmo ports.

The rotors you used, 'Series 5', are these NA or Turbo rotors?

itb and defineautoworks headers and you might see 240-250.. which would be a record( 230 currently by defined.. and a cosmo N/a a well.. hmm.)

Proff that the Cosmo engines are best at making power on pure side ports. The intake helps as well because all the ports are 1.75". The fc and fd primary ports are small.

Factory stock I dont believe so. I think they hover in the 190+ rwhp range.

i have seen one or two ... literally! nevertheless, as T-von said many of them register just under 200, and i've seen variations as much as -30+. i think it's sort of a moot point in the Rx-8 though; a discussion for another place and time.
